Consumer discretionary stocks, and the way they move, are an important ‘tell’ as far as how the health of the economy is doing. Why? Consumers spend money on discretionary products – items they don’t really need, but rather want – when they have extra cash, and are comfortable with their financial situation. During this episode, Charles Payne and I discuss several low priced consumer discretionary stocks he likes, along with some of my favorites from my ‘Millennials Love It’ list. These include FreshPet (FRPT), Chegg (CHGG) and LiveNation (LYV).
