This recap reflects the discussion at the time of the appearance. The stock ideas and market conditions are historical.
During my February visit to Making Money with Charles Payne in New York, we discussed long-term stock ideas alongside potential bearish trades. The long-term names included Amazon (AMZN), Nvidia (NVDA), IREN, and Broadcom (AVGO).
Why I discussed the 200-day moving average
In my notes accompanying the recording, I highlighted buying long-term stocks near the 200-day simple moving average on the daily chart as one of my preferred entry approaches. Nvidia, Broadcom, and Amazon were the examples I named. The focus was the entry location as well as the company.
The bearish side of the watchlist
We also discussed potential short opportunities in Roblox (RBLX), Dell (DELL), Target (TGT), and Salesforce (CRM). Keeping those ideas separate from the long-term buy list makes the conversation easier to follow: the segment included different outlooks and trading time frames.
The recording below was uploaded on February 9, 2026, and my accompanying description identifies the appearance as the previous week. I’m retaining the month here rather than treating the upload date as the broadcast date.
Related options example from February
Later that month, I discussed a Walmart earnings setup on CNBC. My Walmart options recap explains the bearish call-credit-spread approach I used while also being a shareholder. It’s a separate appearance that adds context to the distinction between an investment and a shorter-term options trade.
