[Watch Bow]: Economy in Focus as Fed Lowers Growth Forecast

March 21st, 2019 – Throughout 2018, the Federal Reserve was raising interest rates. This action, coupled with slowing earnings growth and an escalating trade war, has slowed economic growth much quicker than expected. Hiring, along with consumer spending are also key data points that the Federal Reserve keeps in focus when adjusting monetary policy and are in sharp focus. In this clip, we discuss how decisions in monetary policy impact the stock market. In my view, with an adjustment of monetary policy, along with market leaders like Microsoft and the cloud computing industry continuing to pull the market higher, I believe the S&P will hit the $3,000 price point.
