Looking at how to improve in 2020

Welcome to 2020! I hope your first two trading days of the year have been fantastic.

On December 31st, I hosted my End of Year Review with my Stacked Profits Mastery. During that session, I walked through my process that I do every year on December 31st, that identifies trading strengths and weaknesses throughout the year. This helps me hone my strategies and plans going into the next year.

One of my favorite pieces of this exercise is to examine this…

My biggest wins — and losses, by ticker. I then break it down in more detail, focusing on the actual setups and strategies that were also the best — or the worst.

One of the most important pieces that came from this was my Top Winning Tickers of 2019. These are the tickers I made the most money on last year.

Here’s my list, with the biggest winner at the top:

It’s through this process that I hone my plan for 2020 — which is crucial to set up the next year for success.

In my Kickstart to Success session that I hosted yesterday for my 5-Star class, we talked about a couple key factors that I use to trade the beginning of the year. This list comes from the information from last year, along with my past trading years of experience.

It was only supposed to be a 2 hour session, but of course, I always want to go into such detail that it ended up being a full four hour class. So far, we covered:

  • The January Effect
  • The Run into Earnings
  • Top Sectors, Stocks, and ETFs on my watchlist
  • Top 30 Best Run into Earnings Tickers

So since I didn’t address everything I’d have liked to… the second session of the Kickstart to Success is going to be this Monday, January 6th, from 4-6pm Central.

During this session, we’ll cover how to nail these options strategies. I’m going to discuss the times and places you’d want to use calls, versus spreads, or butterflies. Then, we’ll finish it off with live trading on Tuesday.

If you still want to get your spot, there’s still time! The recordings from yesterday are up, if you’d like to review by Monday.

Check out this very special January offer here.

I hope 2020 is going to be your best year yet! I know I’m planning on mine being even better than 2019.
