One of my first ‘aha’ moments…

With my recent Phoenix class winding down now, and all the awesome new members that have joined our “Five Star Trader” community, I had several people ask me about my trading journey as a whole.

So for this issue, I want to get a little reflective. All about one of my first ‘aha’ moments as John calls them. You know, those moments where something in the trading world (or general life) just finally clicks!

My hope is that this will help open up a gateway for you to explore more into the trading world in whatever form that takes — maybe it’s trying to learn a new strategy, or picking up a new indicator, or maybe it’s just deciding that you’re going to devote more time to this thing called trading.

Be sure to read on traders because I’ve also included our “10 Steps to Becoming a Successful Trader” download near the bottom…

So this ‘aha’ moment I was talking about was when I was a teacher with a newborn baby (now you may know that’s how I started trading, but there’s more to it). I had just decided to move back home with my parents, my dad at the time was an avid trader (and still is). Long story short, we got to talking, and he told me about John and Simpler Trading.

He was actually getting ready to fly to Las Vegas for Simpler’s Annual Mentorship, and he asked if I wanted to join — at first, I was hesitant. I really knew nothing about trading, but not really knowing what else to do, I decided to give it a shot.

We flew to Vegas, attended the Mentorship, and my life was changed forever.

It was a catalyst moment — that ‘aha’ moment I’ve been talking about.

It was a combination of several things: meeting everyone (all the fantastic people that would later become my mentors), truly diving into all things trading, and finding the drive and confidence I’d been looking for.

Truly, nothing’s been the same since.

So why am I sitting here, typing away, reminiscing to you?

Well first off, you asked about my trading journey — this is more or less, the starting line. After all, every good journey story, starts at the beginning. Second, I want to convey, even a little, how fantastic our Annual Mentorship really is.

I wasn’t the first, and I certainly haven’t been the last, whose life has been changed after attending.

I couldn’t be more thankful to my dad, John, and the rest of the Simpler team.

They’ve given me so much, so I’m always looking for ways to give back to the trading community. That’s why I wanted to make sure you knew about our upcoming Mentorship.

Our 2019 Mentorship is happening on April 7-9. So don’t worry, there’s still plenty of time to get your ducks in a row if you’d like to attend. Plus, currently we’re still offering our Early Bird Special.

You can join us in Austin for only $2,997 until the middle of March. Then the price will increase to $4,997 — it’s a bit of a jump, so if you want in, there’s no better time than now. Like I’ve said, it’s life changing.

It’s not only set up to alter your trading game, but it provides you with the unique experience to connect with a community that otherwise, can feel disconnected. That’s one of my favorite things about our Annual Mentorship. Connection is such an important factor for successful trading.

Connection allows you to grow — to grow from the knowledge of others, from the knowledge you gain from your own practice, and the knowledge you gain by sharing with others.
